Movies I liked - The Ruins (2008)

On a vacation on Mexico, four college students meet a German tourist looking to break away from the grind of perfect beaches and bottomless margaritas. Their adventure destination is a lost Mayan temple located in the middle of a dense jungle, and once arrived, the group tragically learns they are not welcome by the vicious locals. Trapped on top of the temple, the students quickly grasp they are not alone...

This horror film really freaked me out. The story is really good, so were the actors. I recognized two of the stars in this movie, one who played Iceman in X-men (he didn't look good this time because of his long curly hair and unshaven face), the other was the girl who played Olivia in She's the Man.

Another thing about this movie was that BLOOD is all over the place!! (and it's the main key in this movie so that you can understand the reason behind all the misunderstandings between the locals and the main characters). So be prepared from all the gore actions and slashing in this movie.

And by the way the ending kinda... HO-HUM.. That's for you to find out!
